So I have this serious obsession with fresh flowers and that was probably one of the best parts of planning my wedding and picking the florist who would create the beauts. I chose Emerson Events and I knew they would do a knock out job as I have known Camden for 4 years or so (wow how time flies) and have always dreamed of her working with me when my bid day rolled around.

Here's just one arrangement that was placed in one of the many milk glass pieces I have collected. The venue had so many areas to place flowers and decor and I couldn't be any more obsessed with how it all turned out. Photo by Something Gold Photography// Florals by Emerson Events

Story being I may have kept quite a few of my flower arrangements from the wedding. This includes my bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, my floral crown, and some table centerpieces. I made sure that my family aka the clean up crew kept all of the flowers and made sure they had some to take home with them as well. We were not without flowers on our big day & that is how I think all events should be. When Mr. Cole and I got back from our relaxing honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica we were welcomed with a house full of flowers which were all mainly still alive and a wonderful greeting to be welcomed to. The arrangements that used foam dried gorgeously on their own and the ones I have used for decor. The bouquets and other blooms that I dried by hanging the arrangments in a dark area for a couple of months have been used as decoration as well.

The arrangement above is 5 months old and in one of my favorite milk glass piecesBrian and I were in a creative mood and wanted to get out of the house, so we decided to visit our friend at the Plant Shoppe. We love all of the plants and creating different arrangements. I decided I woul repurpose the milk glass dish from above to add some new life to our house. I picked out a few unique plants- one being a fuzzy cactus that is supposed to have crazy blooming buds.Another plant which is the green tubular plant is called the "jade plant" and the third plant I am not quite sure the name of it, but I am also told that it should bloom some pretty colored buds {see the picture at the beginning of the post}. I added a few personal touches like the feather and few stones that I had at the house.

Moral of this story is I have a serious hoarding problem and save EVERYTHING, but so happy that I could repurpose my decor and use it for many uses. PS I also rent out all of my decor for events. If you are interested fill free to contact me here! I would love to style your event.

You can check out the before & after pic on Facebook & Instagram as well. I'd love for you to follow me + you will be able to stay up to date with Forever Cole Events.

I hope everyone has a fabulous Friday
