11.15.14 |The Day I became Mrs. Cole {part 1} | 100 Layer Cake Feature

The cat is out of the bag! Our wedding has been featured on 100 Layer Cake { Click here to see the blog feature}  and now I can share some of my favorite moments on here just for you to see!

Alright, now that I can post all the wedding pictures I want I am going to break down my wedding day and go through my thought process and our wedding day adventures... The first part is going to be getting ready, duh! I thoroughly enjoyed having my bridal party stay with me at The Ambassador Hotel the night before. It truly meant so much to have everyone stay since I wanted to be traditional and not see my future hubs the night before. The day of we were fully pampered with hair and makeup by the talented Lexi Faught Hair & Makeup and had brunch including a mimosa bar that was set up right in our hotel room. While being pampered I did have to break away and do one last run through at the venue and meet the florist. Being the detailed {some say a tad controlling} person I am I wanted to ensure it was all set up properly. TIP: Even if you are someone who wants to plan your wedding I still suggest you get a day of event coordinator {check out my pricing for day of and feel free to contact me for more info}

...Back to the pampering.. We blared Taylor Swift, of course! The fellas spent their day doing manly things and sipped on whisky.

I just have so many pictures to share and really want to take the time to share my journey, thought process, and how the day unfolded. If you have any questions feel free to comment or contact me as I would love to help.

B picked out his own wedding ring since I knew he would be rather particular. He decided to have my fingerprint added to the inside of his ring so it will always be with him. Which I LOVE!

Here is my gift I prepared for the hubs. We each bought our own notebooks and wrote reasons as to why we loved one another along with a personal gift. This was something I gave him at his first look, but I had to surprise him and I actually gave him a personal gift the night before {I may share more on what this gift was on a later post}.

You will also see Mr.Cole's gift to me later on as well. Although, he did surprise me with TAYLOR SWIFT 1989's TOUR TICKETS to see her in Dallas coming up! Best. husband.ever!

Wedding dress shopping was the first time it felt real! If I could wear my dress daily I probably would along with my floral headpiece. Dress bought at The Bridal Boutique in Norman, OK.

The boutonnières were designed by Emerson Events, but Mr. Cole really had a say in the style and concept. We were so thankful that Emerson Events for making our {changing}visions come to life.

Stress Away, Joy, and Peace & Calming Essential Oils were most certainly applied right before our first look. I blame part on my nerves on lack of oxygen due to my spanx {that did not even last till the ceremony}.

There's no such thing as too many braids! I told all of the girls to have fun with their hair and add braids. They all looked so BEAUTIFUL!

You may wonder why my bridal party is wearing white and I'm wearing a print... I am not the most traditional and thought I would actually stand out more by wearing the robe that was gifted by my MOH and I just had to wear it on the day of {and still to this day wear}.

I am filled with so much joy as I have gone back and reminiscing at the pictures from 11.15.14// It truly was a dream come true and if I could I would get married once a month!

This is what our mornings looked like. The girls danced, drank mimosas, and had many laughs while the boys all showed up on time to get ready {I may have been a little worried about that} drank whisky, and celebrated with Mr. Cole. These memories will remain with us forever and truly thankful for our friends celebrating our day with us.

Stay in the loop and follow Forever Cole so you can see the rest of our big day along with life of a newlywed and event planner.
